Microsoft Soon Sell Nokia Brazil Factory

After takeover Finland mobile phone manufacturer Nokia, Microsoft continued to go on its global cost reduction plan. However, Microsoft announced to sell the Brazil biggest cellphone manufacturer to Flextronics, which is the second biggest electronic manufacture server in the world. All the time, Microsoft was trying to get rid of the extra assets, so as to reduce the cost as much as possible. Although closing the factory is a difficult decision, it has to do that.

According to Brazil local media reports, Brazil factory will be sold very soon. Since Flextronics is a device manufacturing company, Microsoft will keep cooperating with them. That is to say, Brazil factory won’t stop producing, instead, they will sign the contract, so as to let Flextronics produce Lumia device and Xbox game machine.

There is no doubt that it is a good news for Brazil local economy, because if closing such big factory is a huge blow to local employment and life. More importantly, the local factory as a South American manufacturing center of Microsoft can help company provide a good maintenance service for Lumia Products.

Therefore, it is not a bad decision for Microsoft to some extent. Let’s hope it can develop continually. Look at more cell phone parts at DBX: http://www.dbx.com.cn/
